Bradley Cooper might be attempting marriage number two with Gigi Hadid if rumors are to be believed, and here’s hoping it’ll be a case of second time’s the charm for the Oscar nominee.
Cooper, 51, and Hadid, 31, sparked marriage rumors after they were seen wearing matching bands on their ring fingers during an August 3 outing in Paris. The couple, who have been dating since October 2023, have not addressed the rumors.
Cooper, who shares a 9-year-old daughter with ex-girlfriend Irina Shayk, was briefly married once before during a short-lived and ill-fated romance with actress Jennifer Esposito. The Blue Bloods star went on to slam her ex in her 2014 book, Jennifer’s Way.

Esposito, 53, and Cooper were first linked in January 2006 when they were spotted kissing at InStyle and Warner Bros.’ Golden Globes party. By December of that year, they were married. Four months later, People confirmed that the marriage was already over. “Jennifer Esposito has filed for divorce,” the actress’s rep told the outlet. “She asks that you respect her privacy at this time.”
The pair didn’t address the relationship in much detail for many years. In 2011, Cooper told Howard Stern that “it was just something that happened,” according to CBS News. “The good thing is, we both realized it,” he said, adding that the marriage “just wasn’t right.”
However, when Esposito published her 2014 book about her journey with celiac disease, she included a scathing passage about a dysfunctional relationship that many speculated was about Cooper.
“I should have noticed the red flags from the beginning — actually, they were more like an entire marching band squad of red flags — but I ignored them because, honestly, I didn’t think the relationship was really going to go anywhere,” she wrote. “He was funny, smart, cocky, arrogant, and a master manipulator. I didn’t necessarily find him that attractive, but I figured that I could enjoy his sense of humor and nonsense for a while.”
“Within days, my relationship hit an all-time low, and within a week, it was over,” she wrote of the breakup. “Abruptly, rudely, and with the exact callousness that I’d come to expect from him, but this time, I did nothing but agree to end it.”
Esposito never names this “master manipulator,” and shut down any speculation about who she was referring to. “This book is about my journey with celiac disease and only that,” she said in a statement. “To refer to anything other than the subject at hand or to make this book about anything else is an insult to me and this disease that plagues so many.”
Cooper never addressed his ex’s book.
