Los Angeles Lakers Star Luka Doncic Made NBA History Against Nuggets

On Saturday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers played the Denver Nuggets (at home).

The Lakers won (in overtime) by a score of 127-125.

Luka Doncic exploded for 30 points, 11 rebounds, 13 assists, one steal and three blocks while shooting 10/26 from the field and 4/14 from three-point range in 43 minutes of playing time.

Doncic also made NBA history with his performance.

Doncic is in the middle of another incredible year.

He came into play with averages of 32.9 points, 7.9 rebounds, 8.5 assists and 1.5 steals per contest while shooting 47.5% from the field and 36.7% from three-point range in 54 games.

The Lakers improved to 42-25 in 67 games, which has them as the third seed in the Western Conference.

They are in the middle of a five-game winning streak (and have won eight out of ten).

Lakers Reporter Jovan Buha wrote: “LA’s best win of the season. They win their 5th straight to improve to 42-25. They win the season series with DEN. Luka had 30/11/13, including the game-winner and game-sealing block. AR had 32/7/6. LeBron had 17/6/5.”

Following the Nuggets, the Lakers will now head to Houston for a showdown with Kevin Durant and the Rockets on Monday night.

They are 19-13 on the road (and 23-12 at home).

The Nuggets dropped to 41-27 in 68 games, which has them as the sixth seed in the Western Conference.

They are 5-5 over their last ten games.
