Death investigation underway in Brandywine subdivision, Villa Park police say nearby Willowbrook High School received threat

VILLA PARK, Ill. (WLS) — Villa Park police was conducting a death investigation on Wednesday morning near Willowbrook High School.

Police and DuPage County Sheriff’s Office were at the scene in the Brandywine subdivision in unincorporated Villa Park.

No other information regarding the death investigation was released.

At the same time, Villa Park police were investigating a threat at nearby Willowbrook High School.

Police said the two investigations are not connected.

Police said there is no confirmed threat to public safety.

Chopper 7 was over students evacuating the school at 9 a.m.
