Final Injury Report for Cavaliers-Bulls: Will Donovan Mitchell, Jarrett Allen Play?

The Cleveland Cavaliers are on the road on Thursday night as they travel to take on the Chicago Bulls in an Eastern Conference matchup.

Cleveland enters Thursday’s game with a 42-27 record after defeating the Milwaukee Bucks on the road on Tuesday night.

In Tuesday’s victory over the Bucks, Evan Mobley led the way for the Cavaliers as he recorded 27 points, 15 rebounds and three blocks while James Harden added 27 points, five rebounds and six assists of his own.

Now Cleveland will try to grab another victory on the road on Thursday as they face off against a struggling Bulls team.

On the other side, Chicago enters Thursday’s contest with a 28-41 record after losing at home to the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday night.

Matas Buzelis led the way for the Bulls in Wednesday’s loss as he ended the game with 19 points and seven rebounds while Rob Dillingham recorded 15 points and four assists off the bench.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Thursday night’s matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

For the Cavaliers, they have four players listed on their injury report, including both Donovan Mitchell and Jarrett Allen.

Cleveland has listed Mitchell as questionable due to a left eye contusion and he is in danger of missing his first game since March 3.

If Mitchell is sidelined, Dennis Schroder, Keon Ellis and Max Strus may all be in line for increased roles.

The Cavaliers have ruled out Allen due to right knee tendinitis as he will miss his seventh consecutive contest and he is expected to miss the remainder of the Cavaliers’ road trip.

Craig Porter Jr. has also been ruled out due to a left groin strain while Tyrese Proctor remains sidelined while recovering from a right quad strain.

Bulls Injury Report: Will Collin Sexton Play?

On the other side, the Bulls have seven players listed on their injury report, including guard Collin Sexton.

Chicago has listed Sexton as probable and he is expected to play despite dealing with a lower-leg injury.

The Bulls have listed Jalen Smith as questionable due to injury management and they may elect to sit him on the second night of their back-to-back.

Isaac Okoro has been ruled out with a knee injury while Anfernee Simons and Jaden Ivey both remain sidelined while recovering from injuries.

Zach Collins and Noa Essengue have also been ruled out as they are both set to miss the remainder of the season.
