Penguins sign first-rounder Bill Zonnon to ELC

Forward Bill Zonnon signed an entry-level contract with Pittsburgh, the team announced on Sunday. The deal begins next season.
Zonnon was the second of three first-rounders taken by the Penguins last draft, and now joins Benjamin Kindel as the two to sign an ELC.
Zonnon, 19, spent 2025 with the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada of the QMJHL, where he totalled 14 goals and 32 assists in 35 games.
The 22nd pick logged a point in 17 of his 35 games and was held pointless just nine times. He also ranked 11th in the QMJHL with 1.31 points per game despite missing 29 games due to injury.
In his draft year, Zonnon posted 83 points (28 goals, 55 assists) in 64 games with Rouyn-Noranda.
