Taylor Frankie Paul Slammed a TikToker Who Told Her to Get Off Her Phone Amid ‘Bachelorette’ Drama

ICYMI, Taylor Frankie Paul’s season of The Bachelorette was canceled in its entirely amid domestic assault allegations involving the Mormon Wives star, which later escalated after TMZ published a March 19 video that showing a domestic incident with her ex, Dakota Mortensen, in 2023—but despite the blowback she’s received in the days since, Taylor is still active online and clapping back at people telling her to do otherwise.

In a March 21 TikTok video, a user broke down Taylor’s continued social media usage after the domestic abuse allegations and suggested she stop using her phone, at least until the drama blows over.

‘Taylor Frankie Paul Get Off Your Phone Challenge,’” the user said in the video. “Why are you commenting back to people and reposting TikToks? Her world literally just blew up. I would say her team should take her phone away from her, but no, she is literally reposting TikToks that are in support of her and she’s commented back to people on Instagram.”

The user added, “If I were TFP, I would not be on my phone. I would actually just tell someone to take it from me because I wouldn’t be able to see all of the discourse surrounding me, but then to go comment back is another level.”

In the video, the user outlined that Taylor has been commenting on Instagram pages that have been in support of her, and has even publicly reached out to other members of Bachelor Nation, like Nick Viall—but it doesn’t seem like she has any plans to stop.

Taylor replied to the TikTok user and commented, “Want me to stare at the wall instead?”

As for other online happenings in light of The Bachelorette drama surrounding Taylor, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives stars Miranda Hope and Layla Taylor denounced domestic abuse in statements shared to their Instagram Story. Taylor’s Bachelorette contestants, meanwhile, are “extremely upset and let down by Taylor and the situation,” a source told Us Weekly.

As for Taylor, a spokesperson of hers addressed the controversy in a heated statement released to People after the video was shared online.

“It’s sad to see the latest installment of his never-ending, desperate, attention-seeking, destructive campaign to harm Taylor without any regard for the consequences for their child,” they said. “Releasing an old video, which conveniently omits context, on their son’s birthday is a reprehensible attempt to distract from his own behavior. Thankfully, the public has seen this act before and knows who he is and sadly, many will recognize this pattern of manipulation, both in his actions on the show and from their own experiences.”
