What Star Wars star Diego Luna took from set after Andor wrapped – and why it made TSA agents nervous

Diego Luna kept Cassian Andor’s blaster after Star Wars: Andor wrapped
Andor may be done, but for Diego Luna the Star Wars experience lives on. The actor – who played Cassian Andor in the 2016 film Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, and the acclaimed two-season Andor show on Disney+ from 2022 through 2025 – has found that the character is still a day-to-day part of his life. Between fan encounters, convention appearances, interviews, and more, Diego Luna won’t be forgetting Cassian anytime soon.
It also helps that he took a fun little souvenir from set.
“My gift at the end of the shoot of the second season was my blaster,” Diego Luna says during a spotlight panel at MegaCon 2026. “The one that turns and the one that the light comes on when you pull the trigger. It’s fantastic. I took it home and I was caught at the airport, because they do a great job. It looks really realistic. But yeah, I have that one at home.”
That must have been an interesting conversation with the airport TSA agents. Hopefully they were Star Wars fans.
Andor is streaming in full on Disney+.
