WrestleMania 42 graphics hint at match lineups for Night One and Night Two

With WrestleMania 42 under a month away, WWE has yet to announce the Night One and Night Two lineups. However, the graphics for each match may be a clue to fans on what they should expect to see on each night.

The first fight poster featured Roman Reigns and World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk against an electric blue city skyline, followed by Randy Orton and Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes against a post-apocalyptic Las Vegas, the host city of this year’s Mania.

Monday’s announcement of AJ Lee defending the Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Becky Lynch brought a promotional image in the same style as Rhodes and Orton, which matches the image of Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer and her Mania opponent, Liv Morgan.

Meanwhile, joining Reigns and Punk under the bright blue lights are Oba Femi versus Brock Lesnar, and Rhea Ripley facing WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill.

Earlier this month, WrestleVotes reported that sources said there was internal frustration in WWE over WrestleMania’s promotional graphics, which had changed several times because the direction for Mania had “never been clear.”

WWE has yet to announce the official lineups for April 18 and 19, but Rhodes and Orton seem set to close Night One, with Punk and Reigns closing Night Two. Those with matching graphics will likely appear on their respective undercards.
