Maine Hockey’s Josh Nadeau going pro
ORONO, Maine (WABI) – The Maine Hockey team is going to need to replace some offense next season, because Josh Nadeau is going pro.
The Laval Rocket announced Wednesday that the team has agreed to terms on a one-year, one-way AHL contract with Nadeau.
The team announced that it has signed him to a professional tryout contract for the remainder of the 2025–2026 season.
The 22-year-old recorded 17 goals and 13 assists in 30 games this season in the NCAA with the University of Maine.
A native of New Brunswick, Nadeau played three seasons with the University of Maine, recording 45 goals and 59 assists.
Laval Rocket is the AHL affiliate of the Montreal Canadians.
