Final Injury Report for Hawks-Pistons: Will Jalen Johnson, Jalen Duren Play?

The Atlanta Hawks are on the road on Wednesday night as they travel to take on the Detroit Pistons in an Eastern Conference showdown.

Atlanta enters Wednesday’s game with a 40-32 record after defeating the Memphis Grizzlies at home on Monday night in dominant fashion.

In Monday’s victory over the Grizzlies, Nickeil Alexander-Walker led the way for the Hawks as he recorded 26 points and six assists while Jonathan Kuminga added 16 points, five rebounds and three assists of his own.

Now Atlanta will try to grab another victory on Wednesday as they face off against the Pistons in a tough road matchup.

On the other side, Detroit enters Wednesday’s contest with a 52-19 record after defeating the Los Angeles Lakers at home on Monday night.

Daniss Jenkins led the way for the Pistons in Monday’s victory as he ended the game with 30 points, four rebounds and eight assists while Jalen Duren recorded 20 points, 11 rebounds and three assists.

While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Wednesday night’s matchup, both squads may be without some of their key players due to injuries.

Hawks Injury Report: Will Jalen Johnson Play?

For the Hawks, they have only one player listed on their injury report as they have listed Jalen Johnson as questionable.

Atlanta has listed Johnson as questionable due to left shoulder inflammation and he is in danger of missing his third consecutive contest.

If Johnson is sidelined once again, Mouhamed Gueye, Kuminga and Zaccharie Risacher could all continue to have larger roles.

Pistons Injury Report: Will Jalen Duren, Tobias Harris Play?

On the other side, the Pistons have six players listed on their injury report, including both Duren and Tobias Harris.

Detroit has listed Duren as probable due to right knee soreness and he is expected to play against the Hawks.

The Pistons have also listed Harris as probable and he is expected to play despite dealing with left hip soreness.

Cade Cunningham has been ruled out as he continues to recover from a collapsed lung while Isaiah Stewart remains sidelined with a left calf strain.

Javonte Green has been listed as questionable with a left ankle sprain while Marcus Sasser has been listed as doubtful due to a right hip strain and he is expected to miss his third straight game.
