This version of Williams didn’t appear suppressed. He seemed unfazed by his wrist or hamstring or time lost. It wasn’t obvious that injuries have ravaged his season, or that the Thunder are limited to a few weeks to reintroduce a player of his magnitude. Williams says his wrist feels “better than it ever has,” and that his aggravated hamstring allowed him the necessary time to correct his shooting hand.
