A second person is now accused of killing a 39-year-old woman whose body was found in a garbage bin in Moncton.

Leandra Beaulieu, 36, was charged Thursday in Moncton provincial court with first-degree murder, RCMP announced Thursday.

It’s alleged Beaulieu killed Melissa Price on Feb. 14.

Price’s body was found the following day in a rolling garbage bin on the northern end of High Street.

Beaulieu was remanded and is scheduled to return to court April 9.

Devlin O’Blenis, 35, was charged March 12 with first-degree murder. He returns to court April 2.

On March 20, Joshua Daniel Martin, 36, was charged with being an accessory after the fact of murder and with indignity to a human body. Martin returns to court April 13.

Police have not said how Price died or how she may have known those charged. Police have said they believed her death was an “isolated incident.”

RCMP on Thursday didn’t answer whether more people are expected to be charged.
