Birk Ruud secures slopestyle Crystal Globe with victory in Silvaplana

Birk Ruud: “It’s been an amazing season”
Ruud’s victory in Silvaplana drew him level with Andri Ragettli of Switzerland for most slopestyle World Cup wins with 11.
It came at the same venue where he won his second world title last year, and caps an incredible season, having claimed his second Olympic gold – and first in slopestyle – at Milano Cortina 2026.
“It’s amazing,” said the 25-year-old in his TV interview. “I am so happy to be standing on the top. When you can put it down when it matters, it is a beautiful feeling.
“It’s been an amazing season. I have been working hard, enjoying it more than ever, and the results have been coming.”
In the women’s slopestyle, Kirsty Muir claimed the Crystal Globe after finishing behind home favourite Sarah Höfflin.
