North Stars’ alum Bell transfers to Lindenwood (NCAA Div I)

REGINA, SK – Battlefords North Stars Hall of Famer Kian Bell has transferred to Lindenwood University of NCAA Division I from Acadia University of USports.
Bell, 22, posted 38 points in 40 regular-season Atlantic University Sport contests over the last two campaigns and three points over 11 career playoff games.
A native of Nova Scotia, Bell’s family has deep roots in the Battlefords. Between 2022 and 2024 for the North Stars, the winger scored 196 points in 92 regular-season games, 40 points in 21 SJHL playoff contests, and seven points in six Centennial Cup games.
He also played a pivotal role in helping the North Stars win the 2023 SJHL Championship and Centennial Cup Silver Medal.
Lindenwood University of Atlantic Hockey America is located in St. Charles, MO, and featured four SJHL alums this past year, including their captain, Drew Kuzma (Weyburn, Flin Flon), Jaeden Mercier (Flin Flon), Ethan Zielke (Humboldt), and Bell’s old line-mate and captain with the Stars, Jake Southgate.
