LOS ANGELES (KABC) — Alex Duong, a stand-up comedian and actor, reportedly died over the weekend in a Los Angeles hospital. He was 42 years old.
Duong had been battling a rare form of soft tissue cancer that affected his eyesight, according to a report from Variety.
Apart from his work as a comedian, Duong’s career included television appearances in “Blue Bloods,” “Everybody Hates Chris,” “Mad TV” and “Dexter.”
He is survived by his wife and young daughter.
The family had already set up a GoFundMe page last year to help with medical bills from his cancer battle. Money raised will now go towards Duong’s memorial service and other expenses.
