Leapmotor UK has announced its B10 Hybrid EV will be priced at £31,495 OTR (On-The-Road). Offering the highest levels of quality, specification, and technology as standard, the C-segment SUV is priced the same as the all-electric version, delivering on the brand’s ‘value without compromise’ proposition in the UK. It will be available to order from Leapmotor’s 70 retailers from summer 2026.
Featuring Leapmotor’s innovative hybrid architecture, the B10 reimagines the hybrid concept by placing electric drive at its core and delivering a genuinely 100% electric driving experience. This means the wheels are powered solely by the electric motor – unlike traditional hybrids, where the engine often contributes to propulsion – and the compact range extender engages only to produce electricity and recharge the battery when necessary.
As will all Leapmotor models, the B10 Hybrid EV features a host of premium features not normally seen at this price point. Built on the latest LEAP3.5 architecture, it also sets new standards for intelligent electrified SUVs, providing advanced connectivity, a spacious interior, and a dynamic exterior design.
The B10 Hybrid EV is the second range-extending hybrid in the Leapmotor line-up, joining the D-segment C10 Hybrid EV. These latest additions complement the brand’s existing all-electric range of models, including B10 C-SUV (£29,995 inc. LEAP-GRANT), the C10 D-SUV (£32,750 inc. LEAP-GRANT), and the T03 city car, priced at £14,495 (inc. LEAP-GRANT). These will be joined by several new models over the next few years, including the fully electric B05 C-Hatch and B03X B-SUV.
Everything as standard
Included on every model is a best-in-class 1.8m2 panoramic sunroof, electrically powered, heated and cooled ECO leather front seats, 18-inch Star Sports alloy wheels, 360-degree surround view camera, heated steering wheel, a 12-speaker premium hi-fi, automatic climate control, a 14.6-inch 2.5K pixel HD central floating touchscreen and an 8.8-inch instrument cluster. The ECO leather seats feature a seven-layer construction and are dressed in bamboo charcoal upholstery, combining exceptional comfort with sustainable materials that are OEKO-TEX* certified.
In addition, the B10 features a 64-colour ambient lighting system that can be synchronised with music, plus exceptional smartphone connectivity, featuring Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™, along with a wireless smartphone charging pad found between the front seats.
Bringing together sleek curves and dynamic lines, the B10 Hybrid EV’s compact exterior dimensions of 4,515mm in length, 1,885mm in width and 1,655mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2,735mm, make the B10 Hybrid EV the ideal size for city commutes, yet the interior is spacious enough for trips away with family or friends.
Measuring 2,390mm from the rear seats to the front footwells, the B10 Hybrid EV delivers the largest passenger space in the segment, along with class-leading headroom front and rear. For added practicality, there are 22 storage spaces throughout the vehicle, including in the centre console, door panels, ceiling, seats, and boot, to meet various daily storage needs.
The stylish exterior is available with six paint finishes, including the eye-catching, metallic Starry Night Blue. Included as the standard paint option, it’s inspired by the famous Starry Night Over the Rhône painting by Dutch artist Vincent van Gogh. Solid finished options are Light White and Tundra Grey, while Dawn Purple, Metallic Black and Galaxy Silver are a £575 option. For the interior, there’s a stylish Light Grey theme as standard, with Shadow Grey available as a no-cost option.
High levels of safety come as standard thanks to 17 driver assistance systems that allow Level 2 semi-autonomous driving. Key technologies include advanced emergency braking, lane keeping assist, blind spot detection, door open warning (for cyclists) and adaptive cruise control. For increased safety and visibility, there are eight exterior parking sensors and four surround view cameras. The B10 EV has also been awarded a five-star Euro NCAP rating.
B10 Hybrid EV customers can also benefit from a wide array of functions through the Leapmotor app, including remote air conditioning, central locking, steering wheel heating and electric seat heating or ventilating. The app also works as the B10’s key, meaning drivers simply need to have their phone with them for seamless entry and start/stop functionality. An NFC card is also supplied.
Innovative hybrid technology
Combining electric vehicle performance and driving experience with virtually limitless range and reduced refuelling times, the Leapmotor B10 Hybrid EV is perfect for users who often drive long distances yet still want to enjoy the benefits and positive environmental impact of electric propulsion.
As an EV brand, Leapmotor has used its extensive expertise and knowledge in the development of the B10 Hybrid EV, which drives and feels like an electric vehicle yet can use the internal combustion engine (ICE) generator to recharge the battery and extend the driving range.
Using Leapmotor’s innovative Cell-to-Chassis technology (CTC2.0+), which integrates the battery cells into the structure of the vehicle, the B10 uses a state-of-the-art 18.8kWh battery offering a WLTP EV range of up to 50 miles*. It can be recharged from 30-80% in just 20 minutes using a DC rapid charger.
The B10 Hybrid EV also features a highly efficient 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that’s located under the bonnet. This compact unit is not connected to the road wheels but instead drives a state-of-the-art 50kW generator to ensure the battery remains in an optimum state of charge to power the electric motor.
Leapmotor has developed a next-generation electric drive system for B10 that uses a special oil cooling system to regulate temperature, even at higher speed driving, to be more efficient, increase longevity and smoothness of operation. The rear-mounted motor is both lightweight (around 60kg in total – reducing overall vehicle weight by 20kg) and is 94% efficient, which means less energy is wasted during everyday driving.
As a result of these technologies, the B10 Hybrid EV is impressively efficient. Using a combination of electric and petrol energy, the B10 can travel up to 559 miles* (WLTP) between recharging and refuelling stops, with C02 emissions of just 21g/km*. The 218hp rear-mounted motor also delivers a 0-62mph time of 7.5 seconds and a 106mph top speed.
The B10 Hybrid EV has a McPherson front suspension set-up and an innovative integrated rear multi-link arrangement that incorporates the rear motor to save weight (19% reduction) compared to traditional independent suspension. Crucially, the B10 Hybrid EV has been tuned for European roads with the support of Stellantis’ global chassis experts.
