Crews respond to fire at Wayne State University building in Detroit

A fire erupted Wednesday at a building on Wayne State University’s campus in Detroit.
The blaze atop the multi-story Maccabees structure near Woodward and Warren avenues sent smoke billowing into the cold air.
Multiple Detroit Fire Department crews responded to the scene.
“DFD still says it’s under control and no reported injuries,” said John Roach, a city spokesman.
Other details were not immediately available.
This is a developing story.
