The team announced Wednesday that the forward has been signed to a three-year, entry-level contract beginning in the 2026-27 season.
Nicholl, 19, posted 15 goals and 11 assists for 26 points over 32 regular-season games with the OHL’s London Knights in 2025-26.
The Ottawa native has 43 goals and 62 assists for 105 points over four seasons and 168 career regular-season games with the Knights.
He was selected by Edmonton 196th overall in the 2024 NHL Draft.
