Kirk Cousins has found a new home, and the Las Vegas Raiders have likely found a bridge to their franchise quarterback if needed.
Cousins is signing with the Raiders, his agent announced Thursday morning.
After two seasons with the Atlanta Falcons, Cousins was released this offseason and will now make his way to the Raiders and rookie head coach Kliff Kubiak. With the Raiders predicted by many to draft Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza with the No. 1 overall pick in April, Kubiak stated he would prefer not to start a rookie in Week 1 given the right scenario.
Cousins could well provide that scenario.
