Harry Wilson had five winners last week – don’t miss his tips for the action on All-Weather Championships finals day

Harry Wilson returns with his advice for all seven races on Newcastle’s card – plus the five races live on ITV4 from Lingfield . . .

1.15 Newcastle
BetMGM Burradon Stakes (Listed), 1m

Harry’s tip: Jel Pepper

Jel Pepper seemingly relished the step up to 7f when winning a sales race at Newmarket in October, giving 7lb and a length-and-three-quarter beating to subsequent Group 3 winner Half Sovereign. He showed smart form when third to subsequent Group 1 winner Zavateri in July and looks capable of better this year.

1.30 Lingfield
BetMGM All-Weather Vase Fillies’ Handicap, 7f

Harry’s tip: Cool Molly

Cool Molly has done well since being back over 6f, finishing with a rattle to win at this course in February before going down narrowly at Newcastle last time despite getting no cover and taking a keen hold. That race was won in a good time for the grade, so looks solid form, and she could improve further for tackling 7f.

1.50 Newcastle
BetMGM All-Weather 3 Year Old Championships Handicap, 6f

Harry’s tip: Ten Carat Harry

Ten Carat Harry showed massive improvement when switched to the all-weather, winning his first six starts, including a comfortable success over course and distance in January. He acquitted himself well when upped in class and trip last time, but will be better suited to this trip and track and has more to offer in handicaps.

Jky: Saffie Osborne Tnr: Jamie Osborne

2.05 Lingfield
Midnite All-Weather Vase Marathon Handicap, 2m

Harry’s tip: Charlie’s Choice

Charlie’s Choice has produced much of his best form since October at Lingfield under Taryn Langley, with form figures of 221311. He looks well treated off a mark just 2lb higher than his last win and, given he shaped well over 1m6f on his penultimate start, this step up in trip looks worth exploring.

Jky: Taryn Langley (5lb)Tnr: David Simcock

2.25 Newcastle
BetMGM Fillies’ And Mares’ Championships Handicap, 7f

Harry’s tip: Fouette

Fouette won two 7f handicaps on the all-weather following a 425-day break last year before an eye-catching sixth in a Listed mile contest at Lingfield in November, when she was poorly placed off a muddling pace and was denied a clear run. She’s proven fresh and looks interesting back in a handicap.

Jky: Jack Mitchell Tnr: James Horton

2.40 Lingfield
Midnite All-Weather Vase Sprint Handicap, 6f

Harry’s tip: Uncle Don

Robert Cowell does well with new recruits and is also capable of readying one after a break, so it looks worth taking a chance on Uncle Don. He’s been in my tracker since a luckless fourth at Haydock in September and is well handicapped on form as recent as December.

Jky: Marco Ghiani Tnr: Robert Cowell

3.00 Newcastle
BetMGM All-Weather Championships Mile Handicap, 1m

Harry’s tip: Dosman

Dosman has proved steadily progressive since joining Oli Rix, following eye-catching placed efforts over this course and distance with a victory at Southwell before a fine second at Wolverhampton last time, when he narrowly failed to reel in a rival who made most. A 2lb rise doesn’t look beyond him.

Jky: Jonny Peate Tnr: Oli Rix

3.15 Lingfield
Midnite All-Weather Vase Middle Distance Handicap, 1m2f

Harry’s tip: Wyld Bill

Wyld Bill has a record of 5112151113 in all-weather handicaps for Denis Quinn since last June, including two wins over course and distance. He ran right up to his best when third in a stronger race than this back here last time and looks well treated off just 1lb higher now starting out for John Ryan.

Jky: Jack Dace (5lb)Tnr: John Ryan

3.35 Newcastle
BetUK All-Weather Sprint Handicap, 6f

Harry’s tip: Sarab Star

Sarab Star has always been held in high regard by Jack Channon and has progressed well, with his narrow defeats either side of his Wolverhampton win in November reading especially well. He’s bred to be a sprinter, so the drop in trip shouldn’t be a worry, and he could rate plenty higher still.

Jky: Edward Greatrex Tnr: Jack Channon

3.50 Lingfield
BetMGM All-Weather Vase Mile Handicap, 1m

Harry’s tip: Dingle

Dingle returned from a break with a fine second behind a subsequent winner before making all at Newcastle in January. He didn’t have things go his way under a more patient ride at Southwell, which can be forgiven, and a more forceful ride can see him bounce back in a race he won last year.

4.10 Newcastle
Midnite All-Weather Easter Classic Middle Distance Handicap, 1m2f

Harry’s tip: Regal Ulixes

Regal Ulixes has benefitted from the fitting of a hood, winning impressively at Lingfield in February before an eye-catching sixth over an inadequate trip at Wolverhampton last time. He’s likely had this as a target and looks the type to keep progressing.

Jky: Oisin Murphy Tnr: Andrew Balding

4.42 Newcastle
Midnite All-Weather Easter Plate Marathon Handicap, 2m½f

Harry’s tip: Beylerbeyi

Beylerbeyi improved for stepping up in trip last year, culminating in a comfortable victory over the longest trip he’s tackled in the Cesarewitch at Newmarket in October. He’s shaped remarkably well in his three runs this year despite running over inadequate trips, and could have much more to come as a stayer.
