Detroit Lions linebacker Derrick Barnes sacked Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Jake Browning for a safety late in the fourth quarter of their NFL Week 5 game at Paycor Stadium.
Barnes, in his fifth NFL season, is a former Holy Cross High School standout. He was selected by the Lions in the fourth round (113th overall) of the 2021 NFL draft.
Barnes recorded a career-high 78 tackles (41 solo) and five tackles for loss in 2023.
