Eugene Mirman’s car in flames as ‘Bob’s Burgers’ star seriously injured

Terrifying video shows the moment “Bob’s Burgers” actor Eugene Mirman’s car was entirely engulfed in flames just moments after he crashed into a toll plaza — and had to be pulled from the fiery wreck by the New Hampshire governor’s security detail.

The voice actor and comedian, best known for his role voicing Gene Belcher on the animated TV series, miraculously survived after plowing his electric vehicle into the booth in Bedford on Tuesday, authorities said.

Footage obtained by local outlet WCAX showed flames soaring from the wreckage in the immediate aftermath.

Pieces of the 51-year-old’s car could be seen strewn across the road as fire crews worked to douse the blaze.

Mirman, whose real name is Yevgeny Mirman, had been rescued just moments earlier after Republican Gov. Kelly Ayotte and her security detail happened to come upon the crash, police said.

A state trooper assigned to protect the governor and two others rushed to pull Mirman through a window.

“Without hesitation, they put themselves in danger to render aid to someone who was in need of it,” State Police Col. Mark Hall said.

The governor jumped out of her vehicle, too, and rushed to grab a fire extinguisher, according to cops.

“I want to thank the trooper on my security detail and the bystanders who stepped up to help at the scene of the crash for their brave lifesaving efforts,” Ayotte said in a statement following the fiery ordeal.

Mirman, meanwhile, was rushed to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.

“Eugene was in a very scary car accident,” Mirman’s agent Jay Glassner confirmed in a statement.

“He wants to thank the bystanders, state police, first responders and hospital staff who saved him. He is grateful to be on the mend. At this time, we kindly ask for privacy for Eugene and his family as he focuses on recovering from his injuries.”

Investigators are still probing the cause of the crash.

No arrests have been made.
