“In churches around Suffolk this Easter season, people are being baptised and confirmed [because] someone passed the baton on to them,” she said.
“We can all be people who pass on the baton of faith by sharing the hope and joy that comes from knowing Jesus is walking right beside us now.
“When we’re overflowing with joy, because we’ve seen the risen Jesus, sharing that joy is the most natural thing in the world to do – pass it on.
“Remember, we don’t need to be great athletes to be Christians. So, this Easter, take the baton, pass it on, and join the resurrection relay.”
