Daryl Powell has named his 21-Man Squad to take on Castleford Tigers in Rivals Round!
Trinity will head to the OneBore Stadium on Sunday 5th April (KO: 3pm) to face off with their local rivals for the Adam Watene Trophy.
The Tigers currently hold the trophy following their 26-22 victory at Wheldon Road in 2025.
Adam Watene proudly played for both sides, helping Castleford gain promotion in 2005 before joining Trinity in 2006 where he racked up 54 appearances before his passing in 2008. The two clubs have played for the trophy in one game a season since 2009 to celebrate the memory of a great man on and off the field.
Over 1,000 Trinity fans have already bought their tickets for the game with many more expected to flock over the common to WF10.
Tickets are still available from our Retail Store until 4pm on Saturday as well as through Castleford’s online ticket box office here.
Wakefield Head Coach, Daryl Powell has welcomed back Mason Lino into the side following a hamstring injury. The energetic halfback has been missing since Trinity’s Round One clash with Toulouse with Jack Sinfield having stepped in and impressed in the Samoan International’s absence.
Jayden Myers is the man that drops out of the squad to make way for Lino.
