Bullring shop opens in style with shoppers receiving free ‘Brummie gift’

The new clothes shop is influenced by ‘the everyday lives, sensibility, and aesthetics of teenage girls’

A new Bullring store said ‘the wait is over’ as it opened in style for Brummies.

With over 130 locations, Subdued is a popular fashion brand which specialises in women’s clothing.

Subdued opened today (April 4) at 10am with the first 200 shoppers receiving a free ‘Brummie Girl’ hoodie and tote bag.

The timing is perfect with Subdued selling swimwear and festival outfits with summer on the horizon.

If you’re looking for everyday clothing, you can still grab t-shirts, jeans, hoodies and more from the brand which was formed in 1994.

Subdued describes itself as a fashion which ‘draws inspiration from the everyday lives, sensibility, and aesthetics of teenage girls’.

Outside of Birmingham, Subdued has stores in London, Seoul and Paris to name a few.

Announcing the opening on Instagram, Bullring posted: “The wait is over. Subdued is opening (10am, April 4).

– We are now on WhatsApp. Join our dedicated community here

“And they’re giving out Brummie Girl hoodies + tote bags for the first 200 customers (subject to availability).”

The clothes shop moved into the unit previously occupied by Lovisa and is next to Claire’s Accessories on the lower ground floor.
