Each and every day of the racing year, we bring you a bumper NAPs Table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.

Don’t know what a NAPs Table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press, whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards a tidy Lucky 15 involving four of their picks. Enjoy!

Devil’s Advocate is the one most favoured by these terms and has winning form on Polytrack so there’s plenty to like but, despite having 4lb to find with him, GETHIN gets the vote. He’s endured an abbreviated four-race career so far, and is unraced on AW, but he has shown useful form and is proven fresh, while his half-brother Global Giant won this race five years ago. Thunder Run and Muddy Mooy look best of the others.

This is ultra-competitive. The unexposed and in-form Shabby Hill has to be considered on handicap debut and Healys Pub is another unexposed maiden winner that could go well. Solid cases can be made for the Noel Meade pair Blue Mosque and Fierce Handay, but preference is for GRANN’S BOY, who won at this meeting last year and should be cherry ripe after a pleasing Flat run at Navan last week.

Storm Heart (second choice) looks in pole position with the season he’s having and was unfortunate not to have a bigger say in the 2m5f handicap at Cheltenham last month, in which The Yellow Clay was still travelling with some purpose when departing three out. However, KAWABOOMGA’s novice form is eye-catching, as was his fourth behind Storm Heart at Gowran as he returned from a year on the sidelines. Glen Kiln will give his backers a run for their money.

This can go to FINAL NIGHT who is 4-4 over C&D since October. A 4lb rise may not stop him from bagging another course success. Champagne Powder looks the main danger back on Polytrack with blinkers refitted.
