Hodgson – who returns to Ashton Gate for the first time since 1982 – will be hoping to lead his side to a first win at home since January.
Now 13th with 54 points, The Robins will want to secure as many points of the 18 available as they play out the remainder of the season.
Following Monday’s action, City head to Queens Park Rangers on Saturday, April 11th at 12.30pm.
Overseas supporters will be able to watch all the action live on Robins TV, with pre-match build-up starting from 2.30pm.
Match passes are available for £10 and audio passes are available for just £2.50.
Our Opponents: Sheffield United
After a dreadful start to the 2025/26 campaign which saw Ruben Selles relieved of his duties after being appointed in the summer following five straight defeats.
Chris Wilder returned to the Head Coach role at Bramall Lane despite only leaving the club in the summer despite Wilder’s reappointment, their poor start continued with another three defeats in their next four outings before results improved
Despite being early favourites for relegation, The Blades now find themselves in 17th, 11 points clear of the drop zone and 13 points from the top six.
A good start to 2026 saw Wilder’s side win five, draw one and lose only four in the first ten league games of the new year.
Inconsistency has plagued the Sheffield side in recent weeks, with Monday’s visitors without a win in their last five outings.
Draws against West Bromwich Albion, Birmingham City, and Swansea City, and defeats to Norwich City and Wrexham, will have the Blades determined to earn maximum points at Ashton Gate.
The Robins ran rampant on the opening day, beating Sheffield United 4-1 after goals from Scott Twine, Ross McCrorie and Anis Mehmeti.
With only three points separating the two sides and both sides eyeing a positive end to the campaign, the contest is primed to be a good one.
