So far, 11 matches have been played in the new season of the IPL, and four teams have already set the early marker in the race for the playoffs.With two wins in two matches, defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Rajasthan Royals, Delhi Capitals and last-season finalists Punjab Kings are the early front-runners for playoff spots. Meanwhile, three teams are still winless after nine days of action in IPL 2026.
