Subway service suspended on stretch of Line 2 after hydraulic oil spill: TTC
The TTC says there is no service on a stretch of Line 2 this morning following a hydraulic oil spill.
There is currently no service between Keele and Kipling stations.
TTC Senior Communications Advisor Susan Nguyen said crews are working as “safely and quickly” as possible to clean up the spill.
“We are dealing with a major service disruption affecting Line 2, Bloor-Danforth,” she said on Tuesday morning.
Shuttle buses are running, the TTC says.
“Leave yourself plenty of extra travel time as those buses are expected to be crowded and slow-moving on Bloor Street,” Nguyen added.
“As an alternative, customers can take GO Transit from Kipling Station. If they are heading downtown, that’s the fastest way to Union right now.”
