Former midfielder urges Real Madrid to sign Bayern Munich rising star – ‘He’s perfect for them’

As Real Madrid and Bayern Munich get set to take on each other tonight in the UEFA Champions League, one of the players to watch out for will be Michael Olise.
The 24-year-old French winger has been a major success for Bayern Munich since joining the club in 2024 and is enjoying an excellent campaign so far.
In just 40 matches this term, Olise has already recorded 16 goals and 28 assists, emerging as one of the deadliest weapons at Vincent Kompany’s disposal.
Naturally, there have been some speculations about his future, with clubs like Liverpool and Real Madrid being linked with him.
Sami Khedira urges Real Madrid to move for Olise
Ahead of the game, former Real Madrid and Germany midfielder, Sami Khedira, has urged the Merengues to sign Olise, claiming that the winger would be a perfect addition for them.
“He’s perfect for Real Madrid. It would be very strange if Real Madrid didn’t seriously consider him. Real Madrid doesn’t want to spend a lot of money on older, established stars,” Khedira said, as quoted by AS.

Highlighting how Olise would fit right into Real Madrid’s recruitment strategy, Khedira further added:
“They prefer to invest in developing players who have at least six or eight years of their careers ahead of them. At 24, Olise meets these requirements. He offers a complete solution and fits perfectly with the club’s vision.”
Not for sale
It must, however, be noted, that Bayern Munich have absolutely no intention of letting Olise leave anytime soon.
The 24-year-old is tied down to a long-term contract until 2029 and if Real Madrid do decide to pursue him, it would take an outrageous offer to get the Bavarians to the negotiating table.
“It doesn’t matter which club is interested in him : anyone who plays for FC Bayern knows what they have here,” Bayern Munich director Max Eberl stated in a recent interview.
“Michael has a contract with us until 2029, with no release clause; we’re calm.”
