The Boys Season 5 Casts Maitreyi Ramakrishnan in Teenage Kix Team

There’s another superhero team joining “The Boys” universe.

The fifth and final season of the Prime Video series has cast Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Emma Elle Paterson and Dylan Colton as the members of its youth superhero team Teenage Kix. Ely Henry has also joined the cast as a new supe named The Worm.

Season 5 kicks off with two episodes on Wednesday and streams a new episode per week on Prime Video, culminating with the series finale on May 20. “It’s Homelander’s world, completely subject to his erratic, egomaniacal whims,” the logline teases. “Hughie, Mother’s Milk, and Frenchie are imprisoned in a ‘Freedom Camp.’ Annie struggles to mount a resistance against the overwhelming supe force. Kimiko is nowhere to be found. But when Butcher reappears, ready and willing to use a virus that will wipe all supes off the map, he sets in motion a chain of events that will forever change the world and everyone in it. It’s the climax, people. Big stuff’s gonna happen.”

The new actors join Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capone, Karen Fukuhara, Colby Minifie, Cameron Crovetti, Susan Heyward, Valorie Curry and Daveed Diggs in Season 5.

Colton plays a Vought hero named Jetstreak, Paterson is Sheline and Ramakrishnan plays Countess Crow. Like the original “The Boys” comics, Teenage Kix is one of Vought’s other supe teams, composed of teen heroes designed to appeal to a younger demographic.

“The Boys” is based on the comic book series by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, who also serve as executive producers, and developed by executive producer and showrunner Eric Kripke. Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Neal H. Moritz, Pavun Shetty, Phil Sgriccia, Michaela Starr, Paul Grellong, David Reed, Judalina Neira, Jessica Chou, Gabriel Garcia, Ori Marmur, Ken F. Levin and Jason Netter also serve as executive producers. The show is produced by Sony Pictures Television, Amazon MGM Studios with Kripke Enterprises, Original Film, and Point Grey Pictures.

Henry is repped by Insurge-Ent and Underwood Management. Colton is repped by Barb Godfrey at The Arthur Agency. Paterson is represented by Play Management and Canopy Media Partners. Ramakrishnan is repped by CAA, Premier Artists Management, and Felker McGinnis & Ryan.
