Kate Middleton knows best when it comes to her son, Prince George.
On April 5, Princess Kate and Prince William brought their three children — Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7 — to attend the Easter Matins Service at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle with King Charles, Queen Camilla and other royal family members.
The event marked the first public outing for George, Charlotte and Louis since Christmas, where the couple’s eldest son’s tall stature drew attention. Despite Princess Kate sporting heels, Prince George was nearly as tall as his mother.

During the British royal family’s Christmas church outing at Sandringham in December 2025, Princess Kate spoke about how Prince George was growing tall.
In a video shared to TikTok, British royal family superfan John Loughrey talked to the Princess of Wales about how George was growing.
“Do you know what I said to William, your husband? He’s going to be 6’4,” Loughrey said, which made Princess Kate laugh.
“I know, I swear, he’s catching up with everybody, isn’t he?” she replied with a smile.

The royal mom’s comment came a few months after she shared another sign of how George is growing after a September stop at the Natural History Museum in London with William.
“They’re getting big now,” Princess Kate told a well-wisher who asked after her kids, gesturing to reflect that they were almost as tall as her.
“George is already in my shoes,” she said, implying that they wore the same shoe size.
