M60 ‘incident’ causes rush-hour delays in Greater Manchester

Drivers faced long delays on the M60 in Greater Manchester earlier due to a “police incident”.
The anti-clockwise carriageway between J11 for Eccles and J10 for the Trafford Centre was closed during the morning rush hour, before reopening at about 10:00 BST.
National Highways said there were five-mile (8km) tailbacks and Greater Manchester Police had told drivers to avoid the area.
All delays had been expected to clear between 12:00 and 12:15 BST, National Highways added.
