Olympic gold medallist Gable Steveson signs with UFC, to debut at 329

The UFC has signed a fighter whose name is almost as big as his person.
Olympic gold medallist Gable Steveson is the newest addition to Dana White’s robust roster and will make his debut in July, the organization announced during UFC 327 on Saturday.
The six-foot-one, 265-pound Steveson won gold in freestyle wrestling for the United States at the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics.
Steveson, 26, began his professional mixed martial arts career in 2025. He has trained with UFC legend Jon Jones in his brief MMA career.
A product of the University of Minnesota, Steveson has explored various athletic capacities since 2020, making occasional appearances at WWE events from 2021 to 2024, and signing an off-season contract with the NFL’s Buffalo Bills to play defensive lineman in 2024, despite zero prior football experience.
Steveson was cut by the Bills before the 2024 season.
UFC 329 is set to take place July 11 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
