Treasuries Edge Lower as Investors Weigh Up Trump Iran Warnings

Treasuries slipped as oil prices spiked following US President Donald Trump’s threat to blockade the Strait of Hormuz.

Yields on US 10-year debt traded two basis points higher at 4.33%, adding to a jump on Friday for their first consecutive increase this month. Counterparts in the UK and across the euro area also edged up after talks between the US and Iran collapsed over the weekend.
