Sources say the woman, who is suspected of throwing an unknown substance at Buckingham as he exited a Santa Monica building last week, was arrested by Indiana police. She is expected to be in court sometime next week for extradition.

According to authorities, the woman learned of an appointment Buckingham had in the area and showed up at the location. After throwing the substance on the Grammy-winning singer, the woman took off. Buckingham was not hurt in the incident.

The woman was identified in court records as 55-year-old Michelle Dick. She faces several charges that include stalking, vandalism, battery and criminal threats.

Law enforcement said Los Angeles and Santa Monica police were investigating the case.
