After David Haye sparked an I’m A Celebrity sexism storm, many viewers’ thoughts have turned to his girlfriend after he set his sights on her with a bizarre attack.
The 45-year-old former boxer made some controversial statements about how women look and their personalities in a clip from the second week of the show. Speaking about his long-term love Sian Osborne, he said his parter was a great cook and could possibly provide food a future camp-mate meet up.
But he then stunned the others by telling them: “She’s tall, blue eyes. She’s lovely. She’s got the personality of a proper ugly bird.” Shocked Scarlett Moffatt replied: “You can’t say that” before David brushed her off, adding: “She has.
“Most ugly girls realise they don’t they’re not pretty enough to….they gotta have a personality to banter and to tell jokes and s**t, so people overlook the fact that they’re not aesthetically amazing, straight away.”

“Which is what’s called Ugly Duckling syndrome, where girls are ugly, when they start off, and then they and then they kind of they, they get pretty as they get older. But they still got the personality of when they’re ugly. Does that make sense?”
He has been in a relationship with model Sian since 2020, but over recent years he’s also been linked to Saturdays singer Una Healy and acress Helen Flanagan. According to sources, the couple used the exclusive dating app Raya to specifically look for a third person to join them.
Their profile reportedly made it clear they were a “packaged deal,” seeking a woman who could fit into their established ‘throuple’ dynamic. According to one ex, “one woman will never be enough” for David.
David, Sian and Una were famously pictured on holiday together, looking glamorous on nights out and by the pool. The heavyweight champ is non-monogamous which is when someone has multiple romantic and sexual relationships, with the consent of a partner or spouse.

Former boxer David appeared to confirm a polyamorous relationship in a Valentine’s Day post on Instagram back in 2023, in which he paid tribute to the “queens in my life”.
He also said he preferred to keep his “private life private”, adding: “What I do behind closed doors is between me and the girls involved”. But later that year Una admitted she had been in a relationship with David, but felt “hoodwinked” into the situation, insisting she and Sian were never involved romantically with one another.
Soon, Sian called for “the truth” as she shared her first post since Una spoke out. Taking to Instagram, the model shared a series of snaps of herself and the singer in 2023, including one of them sunbathing, and posing on a beach, before finishing the slideshow with a photo of Sian, Una and David cosying up in a poolside cabana. “The Truth Will Set You Free,” she captioned the snaps, alongside a rainbow emoji.
He was also seeing Helen for a while, but denied she was sharing the sports star. Ask about the stories on Celeb Go Dating, she said: “No. Each to their own, but I was in love with the man. I wouldn’t have enjoyed watching the man that I was in love with have sex with another woman, that’s not for me.”
But Sian was still on the scene, and Helen told the experts: “I felt very, very, very guilty. I didn’t feel nice about it at all, it made me feel really bad. It really upsets me because I’m a nice girl, I don’t mean to hurt people…I was really lonely and I found it really difficult.”
