Britney Spears teased peek at nipples in dance video before rehab news

Britney Spears’ March 4 arrest on suspicion of driving under the influence prompted people close to her to reveal their concerns that she was once again in a downward spiral of self-destructive behavior.
But as much as the pop singer’s spokesperson had said that she was going to “take the right steps” to begin a “long overdue change,” she eventually returned to her seemingly unrestrained Instagram habits late last month and began to post videos of herself dancing in increasingly revealing outfits, including a lacy yellow bra and panties.
And on Sunday, hours before news broke that she had checked into rehab, Spears posted a video of herself dancing in a thong bodysuit, as Us Weekly reported.
The bodysuit’s sheer top teased a glimpse of her breasts and nipples, which she obscured with heart emojis, but which she also pushed up towards the camera while dancing to Cardi B, J Balvin and Bad Bunny’s “I Like It.” Her thong also revealed her bare buttocks and, at certain points, Spears shook her butt and slapped her cheeks.
It’s not known if Spears recorded the video on Sunday or before. She was otherwise pretty busy on Sunday, voluntarily checking herself into a treatment facility, a representative told People. No other information was immediately available about which facility she entered, or if there were any events that prompted her to seek in-patient treatment.
Spears was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol in Ventura County on March 4. She was released the next day, and a rep for the singer told the media that the “unfortunate incident” was “completely inexcusable.”
“Britney is going to take the right steps and comply with the law and hopefully this can be the first step in long overdue change that needs to occur in Britney’s life,” the rep said in a statement. “Hopefully, she can get the help and support she needs during this difficult time”
Following her arrest, TMZ reported that Spears had employed sober coaches, professionals who were supposedly tasked with working with her 24/7 to help her stay sober, navigate recovery and avoid relapse. But TMZ also reported that the “Oops! I Did it Again” singer fired those employees in February.
TMZ also reported that Spears had fired her security guards, whose job presumably involved keeping her safe and not letting her get behind the wheel of a car if she wasn’t in a condition to drive. The staff changes occurred after Spears returned home to California from a trip to Mexico and after selling her music catalog for nine figures in early February.
Spears was arrested near her Thousand Oaks home in Ventura County. According to the Daily Mail, CHP officers began pursuing Spears after a call came in to report that a black BMW was driving erratically at high speeds on the southbound side of U.S. 101.
CHP officers were able to spot Spears’ vehicle and direct her to leave the freeway and pull over, the Daily Mail also reported. Officers reported that Spears appeared impaired and was put through a variety of field sobriety tests. As a result of her performance, officers said they arrested her on suspicion of violating California Vehicle Code section 23152(g) — driving under the influence of “a combination of drugs and alcohol.”
Spears was initially taken to the hospital, then booked into the Ventura County jail before being released several hours later.
This is not the first time in recent months that Spears has allegedly gotten behind the wheel of her BMW after possibly drinking too much, and driving erratically. In October, the Daily Mail reported that the singer appeared “unsteady” on her feet during happy hour at a Thousand Oaks restaurant. With the help of a female friend, she made her way out of the restaurant but reportedly ignored several people’s pleas to not drive. While driving the five miles home, she was recorded tailgating other vehicles, swerving off the road and crossing over into the on-coming lane, according to the Daily Mail.
In the wake of Spears’ March 4 arrest, her rep said that her sons, Sean Preston, 20, and Jayden James, 19, were “going to be spending time with her” after long reportedly being estranged from her. Other loved ones also were “going to come up with an overdue, needed plan to set her up for success for well-being,” the rep said.
When Spears returned to Instagram in late March, she posted photos of herself with her son, Jayden, the New York Daily News reported. The images appeared to be Spears’ version of happy, mother-adult son moments: She and her son were seen posing in front of a mirror together, before Spears began to speak in an English accent and seemingly simulating a humping motion while wearing tight shorts and a top that exposed her midsection.
Jayden James is one of two sons Spears shares with her first husband, Kevin Federline. Spears and Federline were married from 2014 to 2017, and Federline had majority custody of the boys while they were growing up and she was under a conservatorship due to her mental health issues.
Spears’ older son, Sean Preston, recently changed his Instagram handle to show that he was using his mother’s last name, “Spears,” instead of his father’s surname, “Federline,” according to People.
In Spears’ Instagram post with her youngest son, she thanked fans for their support. post. She said, “Spending time with family and friends is such a blessing!”
