New Broken Arrow QuikTrip first of new design

BROKEN ARROW, Okla. –

A new QuikTrip store will open Thursday morning in Broken Arrow, debuting a new, larger design for the convenience store chain.

The first “Gen 4″ design, as it’s called by QT, incorporates a single front entryway, with two outer doors and a single automatic inside door.

It’s typical for QT stores to have three or four entrances, but in recent years, some side entrances have been closed off to help prevent theft.

QuikTrip said in a media release that the new store had multiple new features designed to improve the customer experience, especially the QT Kitchens food offerings.

A second story of the same design is under construction in West Tulsa.

The new store, at 5230 East Kenosha, will open on Thursday at 6 a.m. It is the 90th QT location in Oklahoma and the 10th in Broken Arrow.
