BREAKING: RCMP responding to reports of gunfire in Quesnel

Members of the Quesnel RCMP are responding to an unfolding incident involving reports of gunfire in the area of Nason Street.
Sgt. Clay Kronebusch, spokesperson with Quesnel RCMP, confirmed to the Observer over email that officers were dispatched to the area after receiving reports of shots being fired on Wednesday, April 15. Details remain limited at this time.
“There is a heavy police presence in the area dealing with the situation,” he said.
“We are asking people that live in the area to remain in their residences and ask the public to stay clear of the area while police deal with the incident.”
