Blue Jays’ Varsho exits vs. Diamondbacks with left knee discomfort

Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Daulton Varsho exited Friday’s game against the Arizona Diamondbacks in the third inning with left knee discomfort, the team announced.

Varsho was replaced defensively in centerfield by Myles Straw in the bottom of the inning.
The 29-year-old had one at-bat in the game and was called out on strikes.
Varsho has appeared in 19 games this season and has posted a .262 average with three homers and seven RBIs.
The Wisconsin native is in his fourth season with the Blue Jays and has also appeared for the Diamondbacks over the course of his 667-game MLB career.
