Midwest Horse Fair returns for 45th year

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) -Equine-enthusiasts from across the nation are back in Madison for the 45th year of the Midwest Horse Fair.

The three-day horse fair brings hundreds of clinics, seminars, and educational events to the grounds of Alliant Energy Center.

There will be FFA competitions, clinics taught by professionals in all riding disciplines, pony rides, hundreds of vendors selling gear.

Then in the evening, people are invited to back-to-back nights of the famed PRCA Rodeo.

Gates open each morning at 8a.m. running today through Sunday.

For those attending be sure to allow plenty of time to travel as congestion is likely. You can enter from the Rusk Ave. or Olin Ave. gates.

Tickets can be purchased in advance for $25, with cash at the gate or through ticketmaster.com.
