Juve chief coy on Alisson and Silva interest

Juventus CEO Damien Comolli was coy on the prospect of the club signing Liverpool’s Alisson Becker and Manchester City’s Bernardo Silva this summer. Silva is set to leave City at the end of the season upon the expiry of his contract, while Gazzetta dello Sport claim that Juve have already taken concrete steps to sign Alisson on a three-year deal.

On Juve’s transfer plans, Comolli said, via Gazzetta: “There won’t be a revolution. Without good players, we wouldn’t average two points per game. We have a very solid base; we just need a few additions that will improve even the younger players, with the right personality regardless of their age.

“Bernardo Silva and Alisson? I won’t name names (smiles). But yes, Juve always has the allure of attracting champions. What’s surprised me so far is that no player we’ve spoken to has said, ‘I’ll only come if you reach the Champions League.’ Players want to come to Juventus because it’s Juventus.”

On Silva, Comolli added: “I hold him up as a good example, but even he hadn’t won much before joining City. We’re not necessarily looking for players who have won or are necessarily free agents, but rather men with the personality to succeed and who can help younger players become winners.”

Man City lead race for Brazilian wonderkid

According to ESPN Brazil, Manchester City are leading the race to sign Palmeiras’ teenage star Eduardo.

The publication claims that City lead the race for the 16-year-old, with Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain also interested.

The forward, who can only move to Europe at 18, has been playing for Palmeiras’ U20 side since he was 15, while he also represents Brazil’s U17 side.

As per the ESPN Brazil report: ”Manchester City is the club that is getting close to signing the 16-year-old and has been trying to ‘close the net’ to prevent other clubs, especially English rivals who are the most interested in Eduardo, from approaching.

”The Citizens’ idea is to reach an agreement as soon as possible and pay a value close to €40m (£34m) for the jewel, a value that, as anticipated by ESPN, was being signaled by other English teams to open negotiations with Palmeiras.

”In recent years, Manchester City and Palmeiras have had close relations, mainly due to negotiations involving the departures of Gabriel Jesus in 2016 and Vitor Reis in 2025, both from Brazil to the English club.

”Other teams such as Chelsea and PSG are also in the running and are in daily contact with people close to the player.”

Sky Germany claim: ”Ibrahim Maza has impressed with strong performances at Bayer 04 Leverkusen , bringing him into the spotlight.

”Interestingly, Maza is represented by the same management team that represents Omar Marmoush . The Egyptian joined City from Eintracht Frankfurt in January 2025 for a total transfer fee of up to €80m (£69m).”

Fullkrug set to depart AC Milan

According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Niclas Fullkrug is set to return to West Ham United this summer, after struggling on loan at AC Milan.

The Germany international has netted just once in 16 Serie A appearances for the Rossoneri since joining the club on loan in January.

Romano said on X: ”Niclas Fullkrug, expected to leave AC Milan in June without plans to activate €5m (£4.35)  buy option clause.

”Fullkrug would return to West Ham and then leave the club again.”
