Odell Beckham Jr. works out for Giants, takes physical in step toward reunion

No deal is imminent for the 33-year-old Beckham, a first-round pick by the Giants in 2014. With his long injury history and the fact that Beckham did not play in the NFL in 2025 a workout and physical were considered a necessary if a reunion were going to take place.

Beckham is trying to reignite a career that once made him one of the league’s most electrifying playmakers. During his first stint in New York (2014–2018), he piled up 5,476 yards and 44 touchdowns, and winning Offensive Rookie of the Year.

Beckham played for John Harbaugh with the Baltimore Ravens in 2023, catching 35 passes in 14 regular-season games. The 565 yards receiving he had that season is his highest since he had 1,035 receiving yards for the Cleveland Browns in 2019. Beckham and Harbaugh did meet recently at the owner’s meetings to discuss a possible return to the Giants.
