NFL Draft rumors: NY Giants might prefer Jordyn Tyson to Sonny Styles

“The Giants, that thing [they’re interest in Tyson] might be real,” McShay said. “If that’s real with Jordyn Tyson you can’t wait til 10. Tyson could go at 8 to the Saints.”
Tyson is of course a divisive prospect. Many consider him a top 10 talent and the best wide receiver in the class, but he has a long injury history that has been a concern. Giants GM Joe Schoen was in attendance when Tyson finally worked out for NFL teams on Friday.
Would the Giants really take that risk at No. 5?
“I thought it was Sonny Styles at 5 for the Giants,” McShay said. “Apparently it may not be.”
“That’s all I’m hearing is that the Giants don’t want Sonny Styles,” Eisen said. “That word is on the street. It is on the draft street, which means Sonny Styles is gonna be a Giant.
“Let’s be straight up here. Who the hell knows?”
Apparently, not even the exceptionally well-connected McShay is certain what the Giants will do.
