One man dead in N.H. officer-involved shooting

ASHLAND, N.H. (WCAX) – One man is dead, and a police officer is injured after a traffic stop gone wrong in New Hampshire.
Ashland Police stopped a car on Main Street on Monday night, where they say the driver pulled out a gun and began shooting.
One officer was shot and wounded before police shot back at the man, killing him.
The officer who was shot is being treated at the hospital. No other police or citizens were hurt, and police say there is no threat to the public.
The names of the officer and the deceased are being withheld pending formal interviews and autopsy.
Investigators are assessing whether any officers have body camera or cruiser camera footage of the incident.
