- A Hardee’s restaurant in Manchester Township will now remain open into the summer.
- The company previously stated the location would close by the end of April.
- Another Hardee’s location in the Dallastown area has permanently closed.
One of the Hardee’s restaurants in York County will not be closing by the end of the month, a company spokeswoman said.
The restaurant at the intersection of Route 30 and North George Street in Manchester Township will remain open into the summer, Hardee’s spokeswoman Lauren Garton said Friday, April 17.
“We regret any inconvenience or misunderstanding this may have caused valued guests, the local franchisee and team members,” she said.
The fast-food company confirmed on April 9 that the longtime Hardee’s restaurant at 820 E. Main St. in the Dallastown area has closed its doors permanently. In the same statement, it said the Manchester Township eatery would be shutting down by the end of the month.
A reason for the closure was not provided.
Word spread on social media about the closure of Hardee’s in York Township. Several people shared memories of working there over the years while others expressed disappointment that the fast-food restaurant has shuttered.
Garton previously told the York Daily Record that there are no plans for additional closures in the area.
