Brooke Vincent is making a comeback to soap but it’s not Coronation Street.
The 33-year-old Sophie Webster star has signed up for Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks.
She famously portrayed Kevin and Sally Webster’s youngest daughter for 15 years from 2004 to 2019.
Brooke departed the soap for maternity leave and has since welcomed two sons, Mexx and Monroe, with footballer partner Kean Bryan.
Now, she’s trading Weatherfield for Chester in a major new part, reports the Mirror.
Announcing the thrilling news on Instagram with a photo beside the famous Hollyoaks sign, Brooke wrote: “So excited to be joining the cast of Hollyoaks for such a powerful storyline.
“I am so grateful for this opportunity to be back on screen playing a brand new character plus my family will be happy I’m back in a full time job haha!”

An insider revealed to The Sun: “Brooke is an amazing signing for the soap.
“She’s a great actress and she’s got a huge storyline coming – one that will surprise people. It’s going to be really, really exciting as it all plays out.”
This follows Brooke previously telling the Mirror that Corrie felt like “home” to her.
She revealed last year: “If they ask me, I’d love to go back and see them. It\s a different type of job now we’ve got the boys. I’ve got a lot of friends there, it’s like my family.

“It’s such a lovely place to work, so definitely, I feel like I’ve had such a long time off that I’ve been able to enjoy my children without the schedule of how hard it can sometimes be.
“I think obviously now they’re a bit older and they’re a bit more independent, and there’s obviously the opportunity to take on more work.
“It’s the adult conversation, routine, it’s always a gorgeous place for me to work, and I have gone off and worked in different environments with different people, but Corrie is a huge part of me, and I feel incredibly lucky to have that.”
Viewers will have to bide their time to discover who Brooke will portray and what draws the character to the village.
Hollyoaks airs Monday to Wednesday on E4 at 7pm and first look episodes can be streamed Channel 4 from 7am
