India and Delhi speedster Mayank Yadav will make his return to the Indian Premier League when he plays for Lucknow Super Giants against Rajasthan Royals at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow on April 22.
The 23-year-old featured in the IPL just twice in 2025, playing against Mumbai Indians and Punjab Kings before missing the rest of the tournament.
He recorded two wickets in those matches at an average of 50 and an economy-rate of 12.50.
The express quick last turned out for India A in two T20 World Cup 2026 warm-up matches against USA and Namibia.
LSG director of cricket Tom Moody had announced that Mayank was fit to play ahead of its match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru, but he did not feature in that match or the following match against Punjab Kings.
