LeAnn Rimes shared a sweet tribute — and a few “new vows” — to celebrate her 15th wedding anniversary with husband Eddie Cibrian.
Rimes, 43, posted 15 photos with husband Cibrian, 52, over the years on Instagram on Wednesday (April 22). The Grammy-winning artist celebrated, “15 years of loving you. 15 years of making memories,” she wrote in her caption. “Your love is such a gift. And, with all that’s taken place this year, I have new vows… in perimenopause and in health, with teeth and without… 😂 Here’s to you catching up and me returning the favor 🦷 Happy 15th anniversary [Eddie Cibrian].”
Rimes and Cibrian said “I do” on April 22, 2011, hosting an intimate wedding in Malibu, California. A representative for Rimes confirmed to PEOPLE at the time that Rimes and Cibrian “were happily married,” and “surrounded by their closest family and friends.” Forty guests believed they’d gathered for an engagement party; however, the bride and groom surprised them by getting married that day instead.
Rimes has since shared never-before-seen wedding photos to celebrate anniversaries, including when she debuted her romantic ballad, “how much a heart can hold,” from her 2022 album, god’s work. Rimes previously shared, “even though I wrote this song for Eddie for our wedding, it feels like the sentiment fits this album, perfectly. After 11 years of ‘how much a heart can hold’ being just ours, your overwhelming, outpouring of love, convinced us, it was time to share it with the world, so that you could have the opportunity to make it a part of some of your most memorable, tender moments too.”
